Car rental for downtown Charleston

Downtown Charleston is a place you walk. South of Broad, the market, King Street, none of it wants your car, and most of it charges you to park one. But the minute your plans leave the peninsula, you need wheels: a day at the beach, a plantation visit up Highway 61, dinner in Mount Pleasant across the Ravenel Bridge.
