The TG is Tony

TG Car Rentals is a small fleet at 1471 Folly Road in Charleston, out on James Island where the road heads for Folly Beach. Tony owns it, picks the cars, and keeps them rented two ways: through Turo, and directly through this site. Both run off the same calendar, so a car can't be double-booked.

The direct side exists because renting a car shouldn't require a conversation. You've done this on Turo: find the car, pick the dates, pay, drive. Tony wanted the same thing without the platform in the middle, so every button on this site goes to a booking page with a live calendar and the full price itemized, deposit and all, before you pay a dollar.

The fleet is deliberately uneven. A Fiat and a Volkswagen convertible on the cheap end, a work-ready Silverado EV, a seven-seat Range Rover, and a Rolls-Royce Ghost because Charleston has more weddings than parking spots. Look close at the Range Rover photos and you'll spot the South Carolina plate: it really says TG.
