Questions and answers
The short version of most answers: it's on the booking page. Every car shows its own rules, price breakdown, and live calendar before you pay. Here's the longer version.
Booking
How do I rent a car?
Pick a car on the fleet page and hit the booking button. You'll land on that car's booking page, where you choose dates, see the full price, and pay. Then you pick the car up at 1471 Folly Road in Charleston.
Do I have to talk to someone to book?
No. The whole thing happens online, which is how we prefer it and probably how you do too. The phone number, (843) 588-8326, is for questions, not a required step.
Can I book the same car I saw on Turo?
If it's in our fleet, yes. Same cars, same calendar. Turo bookings and direct bookings block each other out automatically, so whatever shows available here really is.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Each car has an advance-notice window set on its booking page, usually a few hours. If the calendar lets you pick the dates, the booking works.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Bookings are managed through the same online system you booked on. Each car's page spells out its cancellation terms, so read them for your dates. If something's gone sideways, call us.
Rules and requirements
How old do I need to be?
21 or older for the fleet in general. The booking page enforces each car's exact minimum before you pay.
What do I need to bring?
A valid driver's license and the card you booked with. The checkout flow tells you if a specific car needs anything else.
Is there a security deposit?
Most cars carry a $250 refundable deposit, itemized at checkout before you pay. A couple of cars may differ, and their booking pages say so.
Is there a minimum trip length?
Most of the fleet rents for three days minimum. Maximums run up to a year, so weekly and monthly trips are fine.
Are there other fees besides the daily rate?
There's a $10 booking fee per trip, and checkout itemizes everything, rate, deposit, and fees, before you're charged. What you approve on that screen is what you pay.
What about insurance?
Coverage options show up during checkout, where you can see what's included with your booking and what's offered on top. If you're unsure what your own policy covers, that's a good question for your insurer before the trip.
Pickup and the cars
Where do I pick up the car?
1471 Folly Road, Charleston, SC. That's on James Island, on the main road between the connector and Folly Beach.
Do you deliver cars?
Call (843) 588-8326 before you book and ask about your dates and location. Don't book assuming delivery.
Are the photos the actual cars?
Yes. Every photo on this site is the actual car you'd be renting, not a stock image of the model.
Is the Hellcat really $72,500?
That one's listed for sale, not for rent by the day. The rest of the fleet rents by the day, with live prices on every card.
Why is the Silverado electric?
It charges like any EV instead of stopping for gas. If you've never driven one, the booking page's specs cover what it seats and carries.
Answer not here?
The booking page answers most of it per car. For the rest, call (843) 588-8326 or email tgrentalssc@gmail.com.
