Rent a car on James Island

This one's the home game. The TG lot sits at 1471 Folly Road, the same road that carries you from the James Island connector down to the Folly Beach bridge. If you live near Camp Road, Riverland Terrace, or out toward Fort Johnson, you're minutes from the cars.

Booking works the same no matter where you're coming from: pick the car on the fleet page, choose your dates, and pay online. When it's time, come by the lot and get the keys. There's no counter to stand at, which is sort of the whole idea.

Island renters use the fleet for different jobs. The Silverado EV handles a dump run or a Lowe's trip that won't fit in a sedan. The Range Rover seats seven for a family weekend. Close to the water, close to town

From the lot, Folly Beach is a straight shot south past the Folly River. Downtown Charleston is fifteen-odd minutes the other way over the connector, traffic willing. That's the useful thing about renting on James Island: you're already positioned between the beach and the city, so vacation math gets easier.
