Flying into Charleston? Here's the honest version.

First, the part most rental sites bury: we don't have a counter at CHS. The airport has a consolidated rental facility, and if you want a car the second you step off the plane, that's the fastest option.

Here's what we offer instead. TG Car Rentals is a local fleet at 1471 Folly Road, about a half hour from the airport down I-26 and over the James Island connector, and a rideshare gets you there. What you get for that ride: the exact car you picked with photos, a price that was itemized before you paid, and a lot on the beach side of town, which is probably where you're staying anyway. If your week is Folly Beach, Kiawah, or downtown, the lot is near your bed, not near the runway.

How travelers actually use it

Book from home before the trip on the fleet page. Every car shows a live calendar synced with Turo, and most of the fleet rents for three days minimum, which fits a normal Charleston vacation.
