Getting to the lot from IOP
From Front Beach you cross the Connector to Mount Pleasant, take the Ravenel Bridge into Charleston, then come down Folly Road. Figure about 35 minutes without traffic. Beach weeks favor space. The Range Rover takes chairs, coolers, boards and a canopy without anybody holding something on their lap. Breach Inlet separates IOP from Sullivan's Island, and the two get treated as one trip by most visitors. Ocean Boulevard runs the length of the beach, and the county park at the west end is where the parking actually is.
